Wall poster of Chinese radicals, in several formats:
This was sized for an 11" x 17" wall poster but is legible on normal size paper, no problem. They are GIF (picture) files, so use whatever settings are needed in your favorite picture viewer to print them out in the size you want. |

NEW: Random dates and times for practice translating into Chinese.
Printable flashcards for the IC textbook, Level 1 Part 1, in Microsoft Word format. These are larger type versions of Word files created by Bradley Bonnette. NEW: Added feature - flash cards for the radicals, at the end of the files. See Bradley Bonnette's page for instructions and more information.
NEW: Book recommendation. Swallowing Clouds is a book that explains Chinese characters, and uses them to talk about Chinese culture, tradition and history. It's easy to read, entertaining, and very accessible. It helps me as a beginning student to see some rationality behind the structure of characters. It is a bit frustrating because the author rarely gives the Pinyin, doesn't indicate tones, and uses traditional characters (I am studying simplified). But it is still a good read and I recommend it highly.
